After working as a sommerlier at TriBeCa Grill, Veritas, and Gilt, Cappiello opened two restaurants in NYC’s Bowery, Rebelle and Pearl & Ash. Both of his restaurants have been lauded by the press for their exceptional wine lists and cellars full of great value. Distinguishing himself from the sometimes stuffy aura of wine tastings, Cappiello’s philosophy is that great wines should be affordable and accessible to all.
